Rance Keane deals with some pseudo-Nazis who try to weaponize an innocent-seeming schooner to do the job. (Feature Comics 044, 1941)
This is a weird one: the Germans attempt to trick the Japanese into attacking Pearl Harbor one year before the actual attack but are foiled by the Lone Eagle. (Thrilling Comics 011, 1940)
